Advanced Dynamics, the sole UK distributor of Pack Leader’s range of labelling equipment, has installed an ELF-50 desktop labelling unit at Orchard Valley Foods’ production site at Tenbury Wells, in Worcestershire.
Orchard Valley Foods says the purchase of the ELF-50 is already paying off, with its site engineer Stuart Blumberg reporting improvements in productivity following the installation of the equipment on a line of own brand, 165g tubs of Secret Ingredients confections and decorations.
Mr Blumberg said: “The ELF-50 is handling 15-20 tubs per minute and has speeded up our production line. The labels are also more professional in appearance. It’s the first time we have used Advanced Dynamics and we would use them again for new equipment.”
