Connage Highland Dairy has announced that a number of its prize-winning cheeses are now being stocked by none other than Harrods, the world’s most famous luxury department store.
Connage Highland Dairy is a traditional, family owned, fully organic business, producing a range of top quality, artisan cheeses that are already award winners in their own right. Producing a range that includes Clava Brie, Crowdie, Dunlop (Scottish cheddar), Smoked Dunlop and Cromal, Connage prides itself in its high animal welfare standards and quality control, as well as the quality and taste of its cheeses.
Following a ‘Meet the Buyer’ event organised by industry body Scotland Food & Drink, Connage cheeses have been selected by the Harrods buying team. Bruce Langlands, director of the Harrods Food Halls, says: “At Harrods we are always interested in working in partnership with small artisan producers who offer products of exceptional quality and Connage Highland Dairy is a perfect example. We were truly impressed by the fantastic quality of their cheeses and are sure they will prove a resounding success with our customers.”
